  Salsa Ithaca is the place to be for salsa, merengue, bachata dancing and related events in Ithaca. They have events and classes all the time, with expert dance instruction. My band Sunset Salsa played there last night and had a blast! Highly recommend!

  I had zero salsa experience walking in, but by the end of the first class, my girlfriend and I were actually dancing together—and having a blast. Michael is an incredible instructor: patient, clear, and passionate about the dance. He broke the steps down in a way that made it click, even for a total beginner like me. The whole vibe at Salsa Ithaca is welcoming and fun. They made it extra special by helping me set up a surprise anniversary dance with champagne and flowers for my girlfriend. That level of thoughtfulness really set them apart. I can’t wait to come back and keep learning. If you’re on the fence—especially if you’re a beginner—don’t hesitate. You’ll be surprised at how much you can pick up in just one class.

  Had a group of 6 attend a class together and had a ton of fun! The instructors were clear, patient, and very helpful. Would highly recommend!

  I took the salsa class as my PE for Cornell and decided to go with a few friends to the Friday Salsa night. It was SO FUN. We intended to just stay and try to practice for a few, and ended up staying double the time we meant to. The music was great, the people were great, the drinks were great, the atmosphere was amazing. If you have the chance, go! Don't be like me and wait until the very end of your senior year!
